01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Stepping past the storefront of LAITIER in a calm pocket of Sendagaya, visitors are greeted by an inventive selection of soft-serve creations. A enduring favorite is the milk soft serve with honey and 3 kinds of nuts, pairing a rich yet clean-finishing milk base with the lively crunch of toasted nuts and the gentle sweetness of honey. Composed like a chilled French dessert, it offers a textured experience far beyond standard soft serve.

Those looking for deeper dessert flavors can opt for the 2-layer tiramisu soft serve, which layers rich mascarpone soft serve with Valrhona cocoa and biscuits made using house-roasted coffee beans. With its restrained sweetness, the depth of the cheese and the pleasant bitterness of the cocoa come to the fore, making it an easy pick even right after a meal. The repertoire also features playful creations for mature palates, including the Michelin Chocolate Soft Serve topped with crunchy chocolate pearls, a brandy-accented chocolate soft serve, and a rum raisin soft serve infused with 3 kinds of raisins and spirits.

The drink menu is equally considered, featuring house-roasted coffee hand-sorted and roasted in small batches, espresso-forward flat whites, and vibrant matcha lattes whisked with Tenryu matcha from Shizuoka Prefecture. Herbal teas such as Cachamai infusions are also on hand for a calming tea break.

Seating is available indoors as well as out on the open-air terrace, where guests can enjoy their treats in the breeze on pleasant days. Takeout service is also offered, making it simple to pick up a cup or cone while strolling through the neighborhood.
